Illicium – Aromazing Nature was born from the shared vision of two women convinced that there is a better way to care for both skin and planet. In 2020, over a simple coffee, the idea of Illicium was born. One of us dreamed of using local olive oil to create cosmetics, while the other wanted to make solid products to avoid plastic waste. The very next day, we met in the kitchen to test our first formulas. Day after day, experiment after experiment, we realized this was more than just an idea — it was the beginning of something unique. What started as kitchen trials soon became the cornerstone of Illicium, a worker cooperative with a clear purpose: to craft natural, solid, plastic-free cosmetics that celebrate the richness of our local ingredients.
